This service is available to convalescent and nursing facilities when a patient passes away without any known next of kin. Our team will respectfully remove the decedent, transport them to our secure facility, and provide refrigerated storage. Fees include the cost of removal, transportation, and a daily storage rate.
Indigent Transport, Storage & Legal Filing Services
For facilities requiring additional assistance, we offer a comprehensive package that includes removal, transportation, refrigerated storage, and all necessary legal filings. In addition to the services above, our team will:
- Register the death certificate and obtain the temporary disposition permit
- Conduct a legally compliant 10-day diligent search for next of kin
- Prepare and submit all required documentation to the Public Administrator
- Notify the Coroner’s Office should no next of kin be located
